How to study JAMB CRS: a 5-week plan
- Week 1: Section A. Read the passages, then write one short summary for each of the 8 topics.
- Week 2: Section B. Make a list of the prophets and what each one taught.
- Week 3: Section C, topics 1 to 10 (the life and ministry of Jesus).
- Week 4: Section C, topics 11 to 19 (the death of Jesus and the early Church).
- Week 5: Section D, then practise past questions on all four sections.
Mistakes to avoid
- Skipping the Bible passages. Questions often come from them.
- Mixing up similar stories. Compare characters side by side, like Ahab and Gehazi, or Saul and Solomon.
- Reading only Sections C and D. All four sections can appear in the exam.
- Memorising without the lesson. JAMB also asks you to explain and apply what you read.
- Using old notes only. Check the current syllabus on iBASS before you start.
